Few weapons in Her Majesty’s WW2 arsenal could instill terror in the enemy like the RAF’s famed Pterosaur Squadrons. Originally utilized for little more than entertainment purposes, the destruction of Bomber Command’s mechanized aircraft during the Battle of the Britain saw the mass conscription of pterosaurs from public and private zoos all over England in a desperate bid to maintain air supremacy in the face of an unrelenting Luftwaffe onslaught. While slower than propeller-driven craft, they more than made up for a lack of speed with incredible agility, and in close quarters were absolutely deadly… that is, unless distracted by schools of fish whilst over the Channel.
